The Process.

I follow a structured Stage Gate approach to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard:

  1. Initiation & Scoping – Define the business need, capture requirements, identify risks, and set the budget outline.

  2. Planning – Build schedules, scope contractors, secure approvals, and establish governance.

  3. Execution – Manage contractors and site activities, oversee health & safety (CDM, RAMS, permits), and coordinate all disciplines.

  4. Monitoring & Control – Track cost, schedule, and quality, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed.

  5. Handover & Closeout – Commission equipment, deliver documentation and training, and complete lessons learned.

Flexible Engagement Options

Not every project needs a full-time project manager or a huge consultancy team. I offer flexible ways of working so you get exactly the support you need:

  • Daily Rate – Ideal for ad-hoc project leadership, site visits, or short-term support.

  • Fixed-Fee Work Packages – Clear deliverables and agreed costs for defined tasks such as writing technical documentation, developing a project scope, or creating URS/FDS specifications.

  • Blended Approach – Ongoing support with defined milestones, perfect for SMEs managing budgets carefully.
